Your Privacy Matters

All your data stays on your device — always.

📋 Data We Collect

ImanMeter does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter — including your Namaz records, Sunnah checklist, reflections, Tasbeeh counts, and personal habits — is stored exclusively on your device using Android SharedPreferences.

We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no internet connection is required to use this app.

🛡️ Permissions Used

📳 VIBRATE

Used by the Tasbeeh counter to provide haptic feedback when you tap to count Dhikr. This enhances the counting experience, mimicking the feel of physical prayer beads. No vibration data is stored or transmitted.

📍 ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

Used exclusively by the Qibla Direction Finder to determine your precise GPS coordinates. This allows the compass to calculate the exact bearing toward Makkah Al-Mukarramah from your current position.

Your location is used in real-time only, never stored, never shared, and never leaves your device. If you deny this permission, the app uses a default location (Faisalabad, Pakistan) as a fallback.

🗺️ ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Used as a fallback alongside Fine Location for the Qibla Finder, providing a network-based location estimate when GPS is unavailable. This ensures the Qibla direction can still be computed indoors or in areas with weak GPS signal.

Same privacy guarantees apply — your location is never stored or transmitted.

💾 On-Device Storage

The following data is saved locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences:

Daily Namaz (prayer) completion records

Sunnah checklist responses

Personal Sunnah habits you add

Daily reflection journal entries

Tasbeeh (Dhikr) counter values

Score history and streak data

App settings and first-launch state

All data is stored privately in your app's sandbox. It cannot be accessed by other apps. Uninstalling ImanMeter will permanently delete all stored data.

🌐 Third-Party Services

ImanMeter uses NO third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or cloud services. There are no trackers of any kind embedded in this app.

The app works entirely offline. No internet permission is requested or required.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children's Privacy

ImanMeter is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no personal data and have no online connectivity, there are no special risks for younger users. Parents can safely allow children to use this app.

📝 Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be included in the app update and accessible from this same screen. We will never introduce data collection without clearly informing users and updating this policy.
